OREGON NATIVE TURTLE FORUM HELD IN MARCH

Researchers, land managers, landowner technical support staff, conservation groups and citizen scientists met at the Oregon Zoo on March 20th to share research and population data for Oregon's two species of native turtles. The Lower Willamette Turtle Conservation Project was formed to share expertise among various organizations and agencies involved in turtle conservation and to promote appreciation and conservation of turtles by all Oregonians.
